ACTIVITES
In the past, I've booked films for festivals, processed and projected
16mm film for two universities, and held a brief stint as a courier, all
while shooting films and getting a multimedia design studio off the ground.
Aside from
that, I've put my film degree and production skills to use
at a Madison non-profit, and plotted going back to school for an MFA
in documentary film and photography. Ultimately a historian, I want to
travel the world and create film shorts about stories that would never
otherwise be told, ultimately preserving the details of our past and our
present for our future.
As my work
evolves, I seek out ways to keep it fresh and different. I love the challenge
of combining different mediums and techniques in the same piece to produce
a work both beautiful and timeless yet also functional. Mistakes become
new designs and ideas, and mishaps become new techniques. I am constantly
learning, reinventing and refining.
